The complete renovation of an apartment intended for a family has entirely transformed the original layout, creating spaces that are more functional, modern, and tailored to everyday living. The intervention redefined the internal distribution, maximizing every square meter with particular attention to both aesthetics and practicality. The kitchen, elegant and characterized by a refined shade of blue, is separated from the dining room by a large double sided bookshelf that serves as a dramatic divider: a flexible solution which, when left open, creates a continuous dialogue between the two areas, promoting conviviality and natural light.

To optimize space and maintain a clean, contemporary look, numerous custom-made furnishings with integrated storage spaces have been incorporated, designed to meet the practical needs of family life. Each element has been conceived to combine functionality and aesthetics, concealing from view anything that could create clutter.

A distinctive detail of the project is the choice to disguise the doors within the furniture: many of them have been made with flush-mounted, concealed systems, perfectly integrated into the paneling or equipped surfaces. This solution allows for a seamless spatial distribution, eliminating visual interruptions and reinforcing the modern, minimalist character of the apartment. The result is a harmonious, coherent, and welcoming environment where every detail serves daily comfort and style.

Newood Light

The Newood Light chair, designed by BrogliatoTraverso for Cappellini, is a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic bentwood chair, lightweight and elegant in its essential form. It is available in several sophisticated finishes, including bleached ash, black-stained, oak-stained, and Shanghai blue-stained, which highlight the natural wood grain, offering versatile solutions for both residential and contract environments.

The seat is offered in two versions: one in beech plywood veneered with ash in the same finish as the frame for a refined tone-on-tone effect, and the other upholstered with a fixed cover available in a curated selection of fabrics and leathers from Cappellini’s collection, allowing further customization to suit style and functional needs.

Newood Light stands out for its lightweight yet sturdy construction, slender profile, and attention to detail, making it a timeless design piece that combines craftsmanship and technology with a sober, enduring aesthetic.
